Riot Games maintains a ban list for its collectible card game, Riftbound, which applies to all sanctioned tournaments globally, including in-store Nexus Nights and Regional Qualifiers. Bans are implemented to address cards that are overrepresented, promote unhealthy play patterns, or create structural imbalances.
The ban list is updated periodically, with the first bans taking effect on March 31, 2026. These bans are evaluated globally and bind to cards, not specific regions, ensuring consistency across all competitive play.
